Upcoming Hearings
Thursday Oct. 15 at 7:00 p.m. by zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82772420034. You may also watch the zoom meeting in person at the high school. The meeting will mainly consist of intervenor presentations, applicant’s responses, commissioners’ questions, and the PZC staff report.
Thursday Oct. 29 at 6:00 p.m. in person at the high school. This is the opportunity for public comment. WE NEED MASSIVE ATTENDANCE!! Come and state your objections! Also feel free to send your objections to the Planning and Zoning Commission now at planningandzoning@branford-ct.gov but still come to the hearing! There is nothing like warm bodies to make an impression.

Craft an objection statement. Need help formulating your thoughts? Come to the Willoughby Wallace Library in Stony Creek Tuesday, October 13 at 7:00 p.m. Amy Bloom, author of “In Love” (scheduled to be made into a major motion picture starring George Clooney and Annette Bening) will be there to assist you.
Put up a lawn sign in front of your house or business. Contact us at BCRD56@gmail.com to get one.
Get paper petition signatures. We have 100s of signatures but we’re shooting for 1,000 names from all parts of town. Contact us at BCRD56@gmail.com to get blank signature pages.

Did you know?
We are finding that a lot of people don’t realize the magnitude of this development. It is more than just a BJ’s. The developers are also proposing a 16-pump gas station, and commercial uses that may include a sit-down restaurant, two quick-serve restaurants with drive-thru lanes and a strip commercial building with a drive-thru. It’s enormous!
